Sail Sydney 2024, here's how it went!

Hosted at the iconic Woollahra Sailing Club on Sydney Harbour, this event offered a true test of skill and adaptability. The conditions were light and shifty, with a constantly changing wind pattern that presented a variety of races and made consistency a real challenge. Those who thrived in these unpredictable conditions showed their class and experience.

It was great to be racing on our home waters, where we felt as confident as possible given the tricky circumstances. While we didn’t have the regatta we’d hoped for there was plenty of valuable lessons learned. With just a short break before the Australian National Championships at the same venue next month, we’re looking forward to diving back into training after taking a break for the next couple of days to recover and rest up.

Thanks to everyone for their ongoing support. I've thoroughly enjoyed testing myself against a talented fleet and am excited for the upcoming Australian Nationals!
